Devotions
He said to me: "it is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life."
This site was developed out of a response to hearing God's word. The photo on the top was taken on a trip to Woolly Hollow State Park in northern Arkansas. We were walking along a path and heard the sound of a waterfall so we left the trail in response. Once off the trail we were able to engage in God's wondrous creation and in doing so connect with God in a way much deeper than if we stayed on the trail.
This is the same with the devotions. We read God's words spoken through the ages and then, listen to how God is calling and speaking today. The waterfall was in the beginning and will be there at the end. God's word was in the beginning and will be at the end. This waterfall changed as time went on and will continue to change as the water cuts through the rock and makes it's way to parts unknown. God's word changes as God speaks to each of us as we make our way to parts unknown as well.
This site is free and will remain free to all. You are welcome to use any part or whole of the site to move God's living water (word). Please cite the location you received it from when using it, that is all we ask.
In listing to God's word spoken today, we welcome anyone to submit a devotion to be added. Let us know the full name of the person writing the devotion, scripture, location (children - youth - adult), and any citations that need to be used. Devotions can be submitted by attachment to an email or in the email itself. Click here to submit your devotion to this site.
I would also be remiss if I did not mention that this site is dedicated to the Alpha and Omega, Jesus Christ Our Lord!
After a year of taking a break, I will be updating this site over the next few months. Thanks
Brother Lee

**The appointment of lessons come from the Daily Common Lectionary used in the Episcopal Church. Though this is a non-denominational site, I like this lectionary as it will take one completely through the Bible in two years. Even though I only use one or two verses each day, I invite you to read all the lessons of the day.
